ABOUT THE LEAGUE
17 SEASONS.
ONE FOCUS.
RJFL Jr. has been the heart of football for the frum community since 2009. Real teams, real coaches, real fun — and a whole lot of kids who grew up running routes.
OUR STORY.
The RJFL was establish during the Fall of 2004 to provide recreational men's football to the Monsey Jewish Community. Starting with a small field at the Colton School with only four teams and 40 players, the RJFL grew to almost 70 players during the 2009 season where all games were conducted "indoors" at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
Due to the inherent success of the RJFL men's league, the idea of a RJFL Junior league was proposed by one of the RJFL's greatest talents...Shmuel Ber Robinson. After careful consideration and tenacious planning, the RJFL Junior league was implemented and has grown to over 400 children representing grades 1 through 8. The community enthusiasm and support for the Junior league has been tremendous and we look forward to many wonderful years to come where our children can expend their energy and get some exercise in a well managed, safe and frum environment.
We've kept it simple: pro-grade structure, volunteer coaches who care, jerseys kids are proud to wear, and a community that shows up on the sidelines every week. No politics, no drama — just football, sportsmanship, and middos.
WHAT WE STAND FOR.
EXCELLENCE
